It May Be 90 Degrees, But Apparently It's Cold Season

On the third day of school my true loves gave to me, three sinus headaches, two boxes of tissues (gone) and a sooooore throat! And in turn I have shared it with Cliff.

Despite taking extrodinary precautions, my dear husband has now succommbed to my cold. He's a real comedian isn't he?

I rarely get sick. Usually I just am the carrier of school germs and Cliff gets sick. Hazards of being a teacher's spouse, I suppose. Honestly, I am surprised to be sick so soon because I have become such a hand sanitizer-sneeze in your elbow dictator this year. (Kinda like Elmo and Kathleen Sebelius.)  I think the bad air quality from recent fires is partly why I was more vulnerable this time.

Anyway, I am hoping the fumes from super glue will clear my sinuses because I have a project that I have been itching to do for quite some time now. It's perfect for a quiet Saturday at home.

Ha - love the opening line ... very creative! I hope you both start feeling better and much luck with your project! I'm sure some glue fumes will clear things up nicely!

Let me know if the super glue works because I only have one partially functioning nostril right now! Cold season here too.

Hope you're feeling better soon! My mom has been teaching for a million years now, and I don't know how she stays so healthy. I guess you build up immunity as you go. ;)

I hope you feel better!

We're sickies here, too. Last week it was my baby, with a stomach issue. Now I started last night, sore throat, congestion. Yay for me!

Awww, hope you feel better soon! I agree with your thinking that the fires can reduce your immunity. I didn't get sick during this last fire, but I sure as heck have during prior fires!

Hope you are both feeling better. I used to teach kindergarten and then 1st grade and would get one horrible cold each year in Nov and then be healthy throughout the rest.
