
Then I found this tin sign at the thrift and it's spread from there!

Last week I found this place mat for $1. It's one of those hard ones with the cork backing.

A little hot glue and a ribbon scrap.

Un petit chien dans la cuisine!

That's a dark little nook, but you get the idea. The great thing about using a place mat for kitchen art is that it is totally wipe-able.

I love original themes for kitchens. It's one of those rooms that you can really be brave with - like bathrooms.
My own kitchen needs some spicing up and to switch out the typical green and red apple theme with something more funky!
