
I started stitching these 1.5" squares to make a taggie for my friend's new baby. It wasn't working for me though. It felt too busy for a baby. So I repurposed it...

into the world's most labor intensive crayon roll for the big brother.

Ahh! Much better. Bigger squares and a few tactile patches make it more baby friendly.

It looks great! I hadn't thought of patchwork for a crayon roll, but I really like it. :)
