Silly String
Happy New Year!
This morning I went to the Joanne's in Glendale to spend more than I should on fabric and stuff that I do not really need. I had the whole store to myself. Bad economy? It was a little strange, but I didn't let that hold me back.
What's more fun than new fabric? Apparently, the nest of threads that comes out after the wash! I took about twenty pictures. Remember when we had to pay for developing film? My digital camera has provided hours playtime.
Cliff said I should show these pictures to Rocks in My Dryer because they use both of those elements. He cracks me up.
Here's to another year of creativity!

Seasons greetings and a super Kawaii Happy New Year, Jane! =)
ReplyDeleteThank you kindly for stopping by. I'm so happy you enjoyed the citrus mountains and fun, fruit citric acid suns!
What a lovely blog you have and what wonderful silly string captures. LOL. Ooo... and I love Los Angeles, my family actually grew up in glendale!
How interesting a fabric store ghost town? Eeee... places have been pretty sparse here as well.
Here in Miami, I've noticed a lot of people exercising outside, more than usual for the New Year! (Utilizing the free activities.) Hehe.
Cheers to many great things to come in 2009 and to creating every day!

I have some of that first fabric wash string just smushed on the design board!
ReplyDeleteFunny, I thought about the way we had to pay for developing film the other day, and the fact that some rolls of film never even got developed!
Playing with creativity offers so many venues!
I love the string nest for happiness. It's energizing! :)
