Photo Hunters: Important: It's Done!

Pretty in Pink

I think it is really important for kids to play house. Kitchen center was always a favorite when I taught kindergarten.  That is why I am so excited to present this play kitchen to my friend's daughter for her second birthday tomorrow. I know she will get many years of play out of it. I used a lot of recycled materials and recycling is important these days too!

More pictures and a "How I Made It" tutorial-ish set on my flickr page.

Wow! Nice job. That's more than I could ever create. I'm certain the lucky child will be thrilled.

Jane, how creative and beautiful that stove is for your little girl... You commented about my PDA and that yours is out of date already. That happens. Technology is constanly changing and making our computers etc. in need of upgrading...:)

Jane, it's simply amazing. I mean it--amazing! I'm so completely impressed! I'm definitely saving this idea because we want a little kitchen for Maren but I haven't bought one yet because I can't stand the thought of one more giant chunk of plastic in the living room! LOL But a little kitchen like this that I could paint and customize would be just perfect. I have a feeling your gift is going to be the HIT of the party! And rightly so. :) Thanks for sharing it with us!
